Jr Cheer Clinic performance info
All Clinic girls will need to be to the game by 7:20pm. The game starts at 7pm and half time will be sometime around 7:30pm. Please wear your cheer clinic shirt and shorts and tennis shoes. If you would like because of the cold temperatures you may wear a white long sleeve shirt under your t-shirt and navy or black leggings under your shorts. Girls will get into the game for free with their clinic shirt on. Friends and family will need to pay to enter the game. Thank you for participating in the cheer clinic this year. The cheerleaders have enjoyed working with you!

Jr Cheer Clinic starts TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 24TH
Our Jr Cheer Clinic will be held on Tuesdays for 3 weeks. The dates will be September 24th, October 1st, and October 8th from 4:00-5:30pm. The clinic is for girls preschool-9th grade. We will split the girls up into 4 groups. Preschool and Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd, 3rd thru 5th and 6th thru 9th. Each group will learn a dance routine that they will perform at halftime on Thursday October 10th at the Varsity Football game. The cost is $30 and each girl will receive a t-shirt and cheer shorts. Registration will start at 3:45pm on Tuesday September 24th. We hope to see you there!

SCHS CHEER CAMP
Cheer Camp was a huge success. The girls had a great time together and learned a lot of new material and stunts. The girls brought home a 1st place trophy in Home Pom, 1st place trophy for Camp Champs overall. They also got a High Gold Ribbon for their Fight song the first night. GO WARRIORS!

SCHS CHEER CAMP SHOWOFF HOME POM
The girls did awesome at the camp showoff especially with an injury that morning and changes that had to be made last minute. We are so excited for camp and know the girls will do awesome and will have so much fun. These girls have worked so hard and have learned so much this past week. Go Warriors!

Mandatory Cheerleading Safety Clinic
There is a MANDATORY Cheerleading safety Clinic on Saturday May 4th that all girls must be in attendance to. I will let you know the time when it is available. It usually last around 2 to 2 1/2 hours and will be located at Desert Hills High School this year.
PHYSICALS
All Team members need to have a new physical by May 22nd. The school will be offering Physicals on May 21st from 5:30-7:30pm for $20. You can choose to go to your regular doctor instead but must have it completed my May 22nd.

Cheer Tryouts opening meeting TODAY!!!!
The opening Cheer tryout meeting is scheduled for Tuesday Feb 19th @ 5:30pm in room 209. This meeting is for anyone interested in trying out for the Snow Canyon 2013-2014 Cheer squad. At this meeting you will receive a CD with three to five 30 sec songs on it and you will chose one of those to choreograph a routine for your individual tryout routine. At the tryout clinics you will learn a group cheer, dance and jump routine. This year we will also perform the fight song all together at the end of tryouts and you will need to learn that before the clinics start. We will have a video to learn it posted on the blog the 1st of Feb. To tryout you must be entering into 10th, 11th or 12th grade at Snow Canyon High School, have a 3.0 or higher GPA per quarter this school year and have no F's or No Grades for this school year. Please check our Calendar for summer practices and camps that are mandatory and make sure you can be to all of those as well. We are excited for this next year and have a lot of fun and exciting things planned. Go Warriors!!

Our Pep Assembly was so fun! Our Student body was awesome!
Our last home game was packed. The girls did such a great job leading the crowd!
